Welcome to Stourbridge - the historic heart of British glass-making, and so much more...

Our thriving market town of Stourbridge, located on the River Stour, has a rich, varied history, not least of being the centre of British glass-making during the industrial revolution...

With an electorate of some 70,000, Stourbridge sits within the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, and includes the suburbs of Amblecote, Brierley Hill, Lye, Netherton, Norton, Oldswinford, Pedmore, Wollaston and Wordsley.

It is an ideal centre of modern Conservatism; balancing plenty of local heritage and history with strong ongoing ties to glass-making and industry, whilst also being a busy, popular hub of new enterprise and independent businesses that help support the local community.

Stourbridge is proud of its parks and open spaces, and benefits greatly from being on the immediate borders of Staffordshire, within immediate access to areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the nearby Clent Hills.

The people of the area owe much to the late Ernest Stevens, who in the 1920’s made many gifts of land which enabled the provision of Stevens Park in Quarry Bank, Mary Stevens Park in Norton, as well as the War Memorial Ground at Amblecote and Stevens Park in Wollescote.

The Duke of Cambridge recently unveiled a statue at Mary Steven Park in tribute of the memory of the 'Stourbridge Schindler', Frank Foley, who saved many thousands of Jews from the Nazis during World War II.
